Masters of Transformation
The Egyptians were masters in using essential oils and other aromatics for emotional release and clearing negative energy. Historical records describe how one of the founders of the "pharaonic" medicine was the architect, Imhotep, who was the Grand Vizier of King Djoser (2780-2720 B.C.) and is associated with the use of oils, herbs, and aromatic plants for medicinal purposes. Hieroglyphs on the walls of the Egyptian temples depict the blending of oils and describe hundreds of oil recipes. In 1922, when King Tut's tomb was opened, 350 liters of oils were discovered in alabaster jars. Plant waxes had solidified into a thickened residue around the inside of the container openings, leaving the liquefied oil in excellent condition. According to ancient Egyptian hieroglyphs, priests and alchemists were using essential oils thousands of years ago to heal the sick and in many spiritual rituals. They believed that the sense of smell and the ability to detect odors was the most important of the sensory abilities because smelling essential oils can increase one's frequency thereby leading to transformation of negative energy.
 
The physical eye is where we perceive light and information, but to the Egyptians, it is the symbol for spiritual energy and abilities. The Eye of Ra symbolizes the sun and solar energies which are integrated into one's body through the various senses. The word utchat, sometimes spelled udjat, refers to Egypt's sacred eye symbol. The right eye is called the Eye of Ra, symbolizing the sun. The left is called the Eye of Thoth, symbolizing the moon. Both eyes together are the Two Eyes Of Horus, The Elder. The eye is the part of the body able to perceive light, and is therefore the symbol for spiritual ability. In the Ancient Egyptian measurement system, the Eye Of Horus represented a fractional quantification system to measure parts of a whole. The entire eye measured 1 heqat. And each of the parts of the eye measured fractions of the heqat. The senses are ordered according to their ability to assimilate the energy for spiritual growth. The parts of the sacred eye are assigned fractional values, totalling 1 = 64/64 heqat – total spiritual growth:
1/64 heqat = Energy of Touch (a stalk planted in the ground supporting the eye at the center)
1/32 heqat = Energy of Taste (wheat grain from which the stalk comes forth)
1/16 heqat = Energy of Hearing (the left part of the eye which points to the ear which receives vibration)
1/8 heqat = Energy of Thought (the eyebrow which expresses and reacts to thought)
1/4 heqat = Energy of Sight (the pupil of the eye which receives light and crystalized thoughtforms)
1/2 heqat = Energy of Smell (the right part of the eye which points to the nose) which is where the most energy is absorbed and which contributes to greater spiritual growth and transformation.
This totals 63/64 with the missing 1/64th being the mystical energy supplied by Thoth.
